Roycroft Summer Festival ~ 2011

I participated in 3 art shows this year, one of which was the Roycroft Summer Festival…a fine arts and crafts show in East Aurora, NY.  The village is a very charming place indeed, here are just a few pictures.  The wind turbines are just east of the town, and there are hundreds of these huge rotors dotting the bucolic farm landscape.  The bridge is rt.90 crossing the hudson river.  It was great to visit my folks, they have a cozy little place with deer in the backyard…here totem is having a standoff.  Vidler’s is a great traditional five and dime with squeaky wooden floors and tons of stuff to buy…a fantasyland for kids of all ages.
